ABOUT

Rachel grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, where her passion for the performing and visual arts began. Originally pursuing a career in teaching sculpture and installation art, she discovered her love for Production Design while volunteering to make props for student films in the Cinematic Arts program at Azusa Pacific University. From then on, she was hooked. There she earned her BFA in Visual Art, with an emphasis in Sculpture, and a Minor in Film and Television Production. After several years of work in the art department on award-winning short films and music videos, she went on to earn her MFA in Production Design from the American Film Institute Conservatory, where she gained valuable experience developing her skills in project management, set design, and set construction. In 2021, Rachel was accepted into the Art Directors Guild Production Design Initiative. She is currently living and working in Los Angeles, pursuing a career in set design.
